    The Xbox One has to be online to install Xbox 360 games, even if you have the disc for the Xbox 360 game in the Xbox One.

    Thanks for reaching out to us today. I would like to clarify a bit more on this question. Are you having issues playing games offline at the moment? Or are you experiencing any game freeze?

    To use your Xbox One without being prompted to connect to Xbox Live, set it to offline. While offline, your Xbox won't connect to any networks.
