Can I play an Xbox 360 game on Xbox One even though there is a port of the 360 game on Xbox ...

For example, Battlefield 4. I saw a copy of Battlefield 4 for Xbox 360 before on sale. I wondered if I could play that Battlefield 4 copy on my Xbox One. I am already aware that there is a port on Battlefield 4 on Xbox One. Can I get the 360 game to play
on Xbox One or will I have to bother with buying the Xbox One port?

Note: I am not referring to backwards compatibility.

Even though you can play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One this is and always be a no go. You can play a 360 game on Xbox one provided it is compatible with someone on 360 but you have never been able to play a Xbox One version of a game with someone who is playing
a 360 version of the same game.

Hi there the xbox one cannot play 360 discs but you can plug a hdmi cable from your 360 to your xbox one's hdmi in port that way you can play your 360 games on your xbox one.

 

No. You can only play 360 games on the One if they are backwards compatible. If there is a version for both consoles, they are considered separate games.
