Can I pay original Xbox games with credit?

Dear Support Team,

is there a way to pay for the original Xbox games with credit (in Germany)? Or can I only pay with Pay Pal and credit card.

To pay with your Microsoft account balance, you would have to make the purchase on a 360 console. Otherwise, you'll have to make the purchase using a credit card or Paypal

How are you trying to pay for it? You can purchase Xbox 360 BC games on Xbox One or website only using credit card and paypal, and can not use account credit. Account credit can be used to pay Xbox 360 games only while using Xbox 360 console.

You can use your Microsoft account balance to purchase a subscription, but you do also need to have a credit card/Paypal on file since it starts a recurring subscription. To use it, you would just have to choose your Microsoft account balance as your payment method when you purchase Game Pass.

Thank you for your response. I already have a subscription running at the moment. How can I set my Microsoft account balance as my payment method for when recurring billing comes into effect? That is some way into next year.
