Can I open emoji panel using a keyboard on my xbox?

I understand that you are having trouble on open emoji panel on Xbox using keyboard, and I understand your confusion.

Unfortunately, on Xbox, there isn't a native keyboard shortcut to open the emoji panel directly when using a 60% keyboard. Currently, the only way to bring up the emoji panel while typing is to press the LT button on the Xbox controller. As of now, the Xbox system doesn't have an official method to bind a keyboard key to open the emoji panel.

As a Community member, we are not involved in the development of Xbox, but of course I hope it will be improved for the benefit of players like you, so I invite you to send feedback with the link below, and you can call more friends to do that too, It is more likely that a sufficient number of problem reports will be brought to the attention of the related team.

On your console or on your Windows 10 PC's Xbox Console Companion app, open your profile and edit.

Type anything you want into the Bio field. Be it "I am a job maker" or if you want to use Emojis, use the Emoji keyboard on the Xbox One, or on your Windows 10 PC press Windowskey + . (period) to bring up an Emoji selection.

Not necessarily they must be exactly the same, when you chat in the app you can be using emojis incorporated in your keyboard application for your cell phone, in console the emojis can be different to those of the keyboard but they are also very varied.

When you are writing a message on Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles, press the "LT" trigger twice and you will enter the emojis section.

bottom left of the keyboard there are arrows to see different pages of emojis
