Can I move my email address to different account, to leave current linked to Xbox profile?

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Microsoft Xbox email address.

If you want to transfer the email address, saved data progress and purchased game licenses from one Microsoft account to another, I'm afraid that won't be possible since all the data is permanently attached to the email address of the Xbox account.

The only options available is either have your child continue using the Xbox account with your email address or have him create a new Microsoft Xbox account with his own email address (This will have him start a new saved data progress.)

This means that the email address that is currently on your xbox account is linked to a different epic games account than what you are wanting the best thing I can reccomend is to try and log into epicgames.com with the current email address on your current
xbox profile and it should bring up an epic games account and see if there is a way to cancel that one or move it to your xbox this would have to be done through epic games not through MS

So if I understand correctly, you would prefer your new xbox live account moved to the old email address. Correct?

The only way to remove a gamertag from an email address is by moving it to a different email address (Microsoft Account), but in order to do so, the account must be on a console for at least 30 days without it being downloaded in that period.

Besides that, replacing it with the new one, will also result in loss of the balance on the current account, since that would need to be moved too.

The steps you will need to do are the following:

1. Download the profile currently connected to your windows outlook email to your xbox live console

2. Wait 30 days. A profile has to be on a console for at least 30 days without downloading it before it can be moved to a different Microsoft Account.

3. Move the xbox live account on your outlook email (Microsoft Account) to a new (Temporary) Microsoft account. This will remove the xbox live account that is currently on the outlook email account

(Be sure not to use the PC with windows 8 or windows Phone, this will auto generate a new xbox live account when it is missing)

4. Move your xbox live account to the outlook email address. After that your xbox live account should be connected to the Outlook email address (Microsoft account)

it's not possible to physically move a Xbox Live account to a different Microsoft Account.

The only thing currently possible is to change the email address to sign in on a Microsoft Account.
