Can I move games, achievements and progress to new gamertag and/or email address?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. I'm sorry to inform you the option to transfer saved data, achievements and any/or game purchases from another Microsoft Account will not be possible. We currently do not have an available feature. The one
step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft account.
You can however set up home consoleon your main profile.
Note:If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available to sign in to any Microsoft
services. A microsoft and Xbox account are one and the same. As there is nothing more I will be locking this thread.

You would need to do the following -

1. Create a temporary email address.
2. Move the 'unwanted' gamertag off your 'wanted' email address, onto the temporary email address.
   
3. Now you can move your 'wanted' gamertag onto your (now free) 'wanted' email address.
   

You can achieve all of that by referring to the guide I posted above.

In order to change the email address that is tied to your account(s) you will need to follow the instructions on

THIS page. Please note that if you have downloaded your profile from LIVE to your console, then you will have to wait 30 days from the day that you downloaded your profile before you can transfer your gamertag(s) to different email addresses.



In summary, you will be doing the following:



1: Creating a new email address.

2: Moving your old gamertag to the new email address.

3: Moving your new gamertag to the email address that your old gamertag was tied to.



You can achieve this by following the step-by-steps in the above link.

The name can't be transferred but you could rename your account to free up the name so your son could have it. If you would like to move all the progress. You can however change. If your happy to move all the progress you can move the gamertag to a different
email address account

You're going to need to create a new dummy email address and move gamertag B to it so that the email is freed up to move gamertag A to it.
