Can I merge achievements between Gamertags (and then delete a Gamertag)?

I'm migrating from Xbox 360 to Xbox One and have a question about my Gamertags:

1) Is there a way to delete a Gamertag and merge its achievements into a second Gamertag?

2) I have two gamertags, each with their own Microsoft account and distinct e-mail address. I want to delete Gamertag 01 and move it's e-mail address over to Gamertag 02. Is the way to do this:

- Delete Microsoft account for Gamertag 01

- Associate e-mail from Gamertag 01 as an alias to Gamertag 02

So i have 2 gamertags and wandered if i can merge them together to have all my achievements with only one gamertag.

Saved games are licensed to the specific gamertag that it was saved on, there is no way to merge the content to a new gamertag. If you'd like though, you can download the old gamertag over to the new console:

support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete which will bring over your achievements and allow access to the saved games that you've transferred over.

Please make an new email before doing this, I explain why at the bottom sentence starting with I suggest

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ once signed in click on the "your info" tab once at the page it should have your name click on "Manage your sign-in email or phone number", the webpage will
need an password again and then sign in.

After doing those things you should get to an page titled "Manage your account aliases"

under Account alias

gives you an option to Add email address , add the one you want and after you can remove the current primaty alias and done.

I suggest making a new email for the Gamertag 01 so you can add the new email to this account and make the email just created primary alias, then add gamertag's 01 old alias to gamertag's 02 doing the same process.
