Can I keep playing a game while I wait for a refund?

Bought Red Dead Redemption 2 today and as soon as i did my wife told me she already bought me a digital copy from a box store. I requested the refund immediately (haven't played it) but im told it will be “up to 48 hours” before the refund processes. Can
i still play the game while i wait for the refund to process?

Basically, accidental purchase, bought with Microsoft store credit, just want to play the game i have two copies of without interfering with a refund. (Wal-Mart wont take back game codes).

Edit: Both copies are digital, no physical copies involved.

Thanks for coming too the forums. Being you have a disc copy this should not be affected at all when you play, due to the license is on the disc.

If you go over the time limit you will not be able to refund it.

I don't see there where one copy is a physical copy, however, as others have said if it is a disc copy you can play that while you wait on your refund of the digital copy.

Evita, first ask a refund then you can install the physical copy. so as not to affect something ... wait till I get the kash
