Can I install games from discs so both my cousin and me can play it while only buying once?

Tho it might be kind of piracy, at least my cousin payed for the game. Can I just format some of my discs and copy the files from his discs to mine? Or can I just insert his disc into my xbox and install it so I don't need the disc later? Or will Xbox
One DevMode help? Is there even a way to play a game on 2 xboxes (not on the same network) with just buying discs once?

no, you can't because it goes agains the rules, plus if you install a game from a disc you'll need a disc to play it.

You can only share games via digital sharing with the home xbox feature if you both wanna play it at the same time.

For you and your cousin to legally share a game and play it together on two different consoles, GameShare is your best bet.

No that's not possible. If it's a disc game then the disc needs to be in when playing.

Copying the game disk and adding it to a blank disk is not only illegal but it's also against the

ToS.

If you insert the game disk into the console it will ask you to download the game, but you will still need the disk to play the game.

The only way you can "share" games is by setting a console as your home, but this can only be done with digital games.
