    I want to purchase a digital game download not for myself but for my brother as a gift similar to what Steam does for PC. Can this be done in on the Xbox store?

    Hey,

    Can someone just confirm for me, can you buy in-game purchases on Xbox One with an Xbox gift card? E.g. If I got a £10 gift card could I spend that on FIFA points or something? Thanks in advance

    No. The best thing to do would be to get him an Xbox gift card so he can buy it for himself.

    Yes you can purchase a digital game on the Xbox Store and send it as a Gift.

    Just go to the Xbox Store, select the game and purchase as a Gift the select the game from your friend list or type the email of the person you want to gift the game.

    Xbox 360 games and original Xbox games cannot be gifted, due to the way these games are integrated into the Xbox Store.

    I would suggest sending your friend a digital Xbox gift card so he can purchase the game.
