Can I get the gamertag back?

Basically to sum it down my gmail got jacked and the email and password was the email and password to my microsoft account. Now the gamertag on the account was a very special gamertag (got it from the reset) after a hour phonecall to xbox support I got control
over the account and somehow they managed to recover it back (there was a phone number on the account and we couldn't change it because it was recently changed already) but if I remember correctly I was reassured they cannot access the account anymore. Now
back to the gamertag, they swapped the gamertag so I lost it. There already is a case with the escalation team I think they are called. I finally got a email from them today and I sent one back explaining what happened. But is there anyway they can get my
gamertag back? I mean I have all the og information, dob, serial number, console id, original passwords, etc. Has this happened to anybody else? Did they get you back your original gamertag?

Can I Get My Gamertag changed.

sorry when an account is banned the name is no longer usable meaning you cannot change another account name to the banned name as it is no longer available.

 

Can I get my old gamertag?

A few years back I had the account but then through a red ring incident it was corrupted so I made I new account (SUB ZERO SCORCH-PACIFIST SADIST-o Gummy o) which I have changed the gamertag of multiple times but I've never liked any gamertag
quite like I did that old one I now want it back but I've apparently forgotten the E-mail address as signing in doesn't work, so is there anyway that gamertag can be made available as it just sits inactive, unused and I was (am) the owner of it but I cannot
access it. If need be I should have the personal details used to sign up for it and most likely the password as well.

 

A friend of mine went through this and after a detailed investigation she got back her gtag and her account. As I see it this is a delicate issue that deals with personal data and privileges so in your place I would wait for that reply from the escalation
team.
