can I get rid of updates?

After wrestling with puzzles and gold disappearing everything stayed put for awhile. Not enough new puzzles but then the updates. My laptop is too small for a 500 piece puzzles but fine I just don't do the new ones. But every time I move my curser the
screen races in that direction. I'm getting whiplash! Make it stop!

You can try a factory reset for your console. That will have you redownload the updates.

 

What game is this for? You talk of a laptop so I assume it's on windows 10? If it's on the Xbox you can get can't get rid of a game update. Once it's been updated it's updated. If it's on Windows 10 you can probably remove it from the programs file folder.

 

Updates are vital to games, without them the game may not function correctly.

Normally Once an update had been applied to the Game or Windows this can't be reverted since the update will reinstall automatically if you Factory Reset or Uninstall the game

 

Sounds like this is a Windows 10 game. What game are you playing, and is this in fact on a Windows 10 machine. Or is this a PC game via the Games for Windows Live client?
