Can I get my pic changed back?

Can't get a honest answer.

I've used the same gamerpic of my avatar since 360 released avatars and the ability to take a direct screenshot and set it as profile pic.

One day after bringing attention a certain issue with a specific game that violates/violated microsofts rules. The next day or two I logged in to see that my pic was changed to a tiny, very tiny image of a dog. I had no enforcement notification and said I was
in good standing, it didn't violate the terms or anything.

I'm unable to get it back, it's not a picture I had saved on PC because it was set via 360 avatar system. I can't get it back through the xbox one's old avatar system.

I have to go to ER today for my ear, so calling MS is still not an option, and the hour+ wait time is excruciating on my fibromyalgia.

I originally tried to contact via live chat when it first changed, but it said it would only connect me to another gamer (ambassador). And an ambassador wouldn't have the power (from my understanding) to restore my pic.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

PS: It got me thinking, how does a deaf gamer even get in contact with support
if phone service is the only means now?

They also have virtual chat as well, like a text chat, if there are hearing problems.

That gave me the option of talking to an ambassador.

It started chat with AI, then I picked talk to a person after it didn't have a resolution and it said it would be an ambassador (previously it would connect me to someone at Microsoft)

I just started a 360 backwards compatible game, and it has the dog pic as well lol.

Maybe it changed everywhere because it changed on 360 somehow?

I tried it gamers, no luck 0-o

I wish there was some way to of backed it up in cloud, or like on the windows app (where you can upload custom pics) that previous pics would still be there, even if only temporarily.

I just couldn't stand having that danged tiny dog stare at me, like it was mocking me heh.

I'm about to pass out, any other suggestions I'd appreciate and I'll try later tonight.

PS, should I click the no button now, or is it a rude thing to do?

I apologize, I get worked up over things and it turns into a feedback-loop because I know I shouldn't but can't help it heh.

Lately I have seen some bugs in some people's profile, the photo is different from the current one, have you tried to remove your profile and login again?

Try removing your account. Open the guide go to settings, account, remove account. Then press and hold the power button till fully off, wait for 60 seconds and power up again. Add your account back on.

You will need your login details to do this.
