I own a version of Minecraft on my xbox and recently got a pc can I transfer Minecraft to my pc without having to pay again

I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....

There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

So my windows 10 store was bugging and i reinstalled the store and it removed my minecraft windows 10. I tried to re download but its making me buy it. (I used the Java code to get the Windows 10 version) Can i get my minecraft back?

As you may be aware, the cross-play on bedrock edition is available, but they're all different platforms.

If you want to play the Windows 10 Version of the game, you have to buy it. Same with other platforms.

I'm sorry, but it is impossible for the game to be transferred like that.

Where do I find the save files in Windows 10 version? I found a folder named saves and it has 2 worlds in it but both are from Minecraft for pc version not windows 10 version... Yes I have both on my pc... Also, if I uninstall the Windows 10 version can
I download it again? I got the windows 10 version for free when I bought Minecraft for pc. The mojang website next to Windows 10 version says redeemed... How would I go about redownloading when it was a free download to begin with?

The update is to Minecraft Windows 10 edition that also works on Xbox, as the Minecraft you have is no longer supported, it still works as I still play it at times. But yes, the update message is for you to get the Windows 10 version that works on both
PC and Xbox, so you can save a game on Xbox and boot it up on PC and carry on.
