    Can I get Minecraft Java when I already bought Bedrock on the microsoft store years ago?


    I recently learnt that you were able to get Minecraft Java Edition if you have already bought Bedrock edition on the microsoft store. However, when I tried to get the Java edition, it still tells me to buy both Java and Bedrock edition instead of just getting both of them for free. Any help?

    I bought minecraft Java edition and says "Play Demo"

    I purchased it from minecraft.net Bedrock&Java Edition and it was 29.99 dollars, and I bought it with the paypal.

    But I still have the receipt about me purchased minecraft bedrock from year and half ago.

    No. The java and bedrock edition are completely separate from eachother so if you want the java edition you will have to purchase it

    Then you have the JAVA edition installed but you bought the Bedrock edition. I recommend uninstalling Minecraft and then install it from the Microsoft Store

    Minecraft Launcher is the same thing as Minecraft Java! I have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Not JAVA EDITION). Do you understand this?
    When i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on my laptop from Microsoft Store it has the latest version but when i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition at another device (PC) from Microsoft store it stuck on 1.17.10 version and don't updating to 1.17.41 version. This is Microsoft Store's problem, it doesn't updating my Minecraft to the last version on my PC.

    P.S PC and laptop has Windows 10.
