Can I get in trouble if I find make my profile picture a custom one?

Hello!

So just a few moments ago, I found a video tutorial on how someone can change their profile picture to whatever they want as long as the picture can be found somewhere on Xbox LIVE. Well, in the video the guy shows a website where you can pretty much find
every single profile picture on Xbox LIVE, and I found a really cool Family Guy picture. Would it be okay if I made it my profile picture on Xbox One? The picture can only be found on Xbox 360, but by using the "Inspect Element" feature on the PC, you can
change your current profile picture's URL to the other picture's URL. Thus allowing players to have a custom picture on Xbox LIVE. If you still aren't sure what I am talking about, I can link the YouTube video I watched. It will give a lot more details and
will better help everyone understand my question. I just don't want to get in trouble. I've spent too much money on my Xbox One and my Xbox account to lose it.

Custom Gamer pictures?

Hello, I was wondering if I can put a custom Gamer picture for my profile. Can I transfer it to my Xbox through a USB? If I do have an Xbox Gamer picture, will I get suspended or banned?

 

How to allow a custom profile pic for my child?

I have spent a good bit of time trying to search for an answer to this, my apologies if I have missed anything. My son has a child account and wants to use a custom profile picture but there doesn't seem to be a way to make this happen. I can understand
if there are restrictions on a child changing the picture themselves, and I would like to work within the rules and not try and go around them, but it seems there should be a way for me to approve or assign a picture for his profile. I can use the Xbox Beta
app to change my profile picture to a custom one, but cannot modify his.

Change your profile picture it´s against Microsoft´s Code of Conduct...

"Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don't:

• Use unauthorized hardware or software
• Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches
• Make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents (e.g., tenure, Avatar, game saves, Gamerscore, achievements)
• Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methods"

Changing your profile picture is not against the ToU/CoC.

Using a custom pic is.You can only use the (limited) selection of gamerpics provided or an avatar pic.

Custom gamerpics is something that is being looked into but whether it happens of not is a different matter.
