Can I get banned from Xbox Live for using a Scuf controller

I'm thinking about buying a scuf controller so I can get better. But all my friends are telling me that using a scuf controller is cheating.

SCUF controller and more.....

Hello i was browsing on youtube and i found the SCUF controller and it looked pretty cool and i really want one. There is also the avenger controller( just an external piece you put on your controller) I really want. Can i get banned for using these or using
any modded controller in general?

I want the fps freeks and like my other thread about scuf, can i get banned for using these?

From what I can see there is nothing that would result in a Live ban for this as it is just a customizable controller that has no turbo functions. But I would not depend on a controller to make you a better player, that comes from practice.

I heard SCUF controllers get you banned.

Modded controllers are grounds for a ban from The Service. There are legitimate 3rd party controllers. The SCUF controller is not one of those.

No the reason people get banned for "modded controllers" are usually banned for lag switching. Microsoft are actually supporting modded controllers such as scuf.
