can i get banned by using xbox forums

You only have a few minutes after creating a post to delete it yourself. So it's no error. It's how it works.

It sounds like it was just an error happening maybe, when you tried to delete your original post. I would say to give it some time and try again if you really want to delete it. But if your question had been answered, it's also ok to leave the post as
others with the same question may search the forums for the same subject and your post would come up, and help answer their question as well. Generally, all forum posts are helpful in the community if they are true questions and are met with replies and answers.

here you can get banned from the forums by the moderators.

If you do something on Live that is against the
Community Standards and it gets reported, the Enforcement team can issue a suspension for that.

A forum ban does not necessarily mean you would be banned from Xbox Live.

No. You can get banned from the forums if you violate forum guidelines, but you won't get banned from Live based on something done on the forums.

1) It's customers who violate the terms of service/use that ruin the fun of Xbox. That's why they get banned.

2) This is not a support forum, it is the Canadian General Forum. As has been stated many times in many threads:
We can not help anyone with bans in this forum. Insulting us can not change the reality of this fact.
