    Can I get a refund for a game I purchased on a mistaken pretext?


    When Elder Scrolls Online updated to the point it said "ready to launch," it said I did not have the disc in my console. Examining the disc, I deduced that it was possibly damaged beyond readability and bought a digital copy. This did not fix my problem
    and I needed to just wait for the download to reach 100% (when I thought the download had stopped completely and could not be restarted.) When I reached 100%, I found that the console seems to entirely recognize the disc and that my digital copy serves no
    purpose.

    I was browsing games in the Xbox live store , and I unfortunately purchased one that I did not want. All I wanted to see is a preview of my balance before purchase but It purchased it anyway. I have not downloaded the game yet. I would like to be refunded
    the funds to my Xbox live account a.s.ap. PLEASE HELP I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING. Just got this console and I love it already. Your help would be very appreciated.

    I'm afraid you won't be able to refund. Stupidity is not covered in the Terms of Service agreement regarding the return of games.

    If you read the Terms of Service this wouldn't be an issue.

    I'm afraid you won't be able to refund. Stupidity is not covered in the Terms of Service agreement regarding the return of games.
