You are able to purchase Xbox Live Gold through several options

- You can purchase a subscription directly through your xbox with a credit card

- You can purchase pre-paid cards that come with codes you can enter through the Xbox guide menu.

To enter a code from a pre-paid card, press the Guide button on your controller, go left to Games and Apps, and scroll down and select Redeem Code, you can then enter your code and you should be golden!

As previously said, in order to access Xbox LIVE Gold features, you have to join and be a Xbox LIVE Gold member. You can join Gold, by going to the
Join Xbox LIVE Gold page (That link is for the UK, if you're not from the UK, simply scroll down on that page, click the little 'United Kingdom' and change it to the country of your residence!)

There are two ways to redeem a code. You can do it online by simply going to the code redemption page and entering the code.

You can also enter a code on the console by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Settings Hub and select Account.
2. Select Redeem Code.
3. Enter your code and select Done (or press Start).

If you have not used your 3 free gold trials for your console, you can create another account and a message will appear stating you are able to redeem a free month of Xbox LIVE.

Once your trials run out you must re-purchase Xbox LIVE via. online or redeemable codes.

As you've mentioned, you're getting an error code 80190128. This may mean that the Xbox Live Gold free trial subscription that you’re trying to sign up for has already been redeemed. It is either your Xbox Live account already redeemed the free trial Gold
subscription or the console that you're using already reached the limit for trial accounts (3 per console).
