    Can I get a free Kinect Sensor Adapter?


    Well, I bought an XBox One S.

    Then I bought a Kinect Sensor.

    And I am so excited trying to connect them and ... and just to find I need an adapter and I am such an idiot to think it will just work, right? And the existing XBox One user are getting one for free.

    I feel really bad - just because I am a new XBox One S user, I have to pay for the adapter to use Kinect... which is 40% of the price of the kinect sensor :-(

    I think Microsoft should give the adapter to XBox One S new users for free too. Can I get one for free?

    Thanks for the reply.

    But see, that is the problem. I've been a xbox 360+kinect user. I skipped XBox One. Now I am back for XBox One S + Kinect Sensor and I am told I am going to pay almost half of the senor before I can use it with the One S.

    As far as I'm aware if you have your old Xbox One new Xbox One S and a Kinect registered against your account you should be able to request a free adapter. Please see the links below that should hopefully help.

    The conditions to getting this free adapter requires having the serial numbers to these three devices:

    - Xbox One console.

    - Xbox One S console.
