Can I connect a third party bluetooth headset to Xbox One? If so how?

I have a jawbone Icon Nerd HD earpiece (this device comes with a usb dongle) and I would like to chat via that device rather than use the wired headset that came with the console. Is this possible? If so how do I pair it to the Xbox One?

Question about headsets (Not sure if this is the correct forum to inquire about accessories)

The Xbox bluetooth headset doesn't actually connect to the Xbox using a bluetooth connection. It's actually a dual purpose device. It will connect to the Xbox in the same way every other headset does. When you change it to
bluetooth (a different mode), you can then connect it to bluetooth enabled devices.

You could potentially connect the headset to a PS3 through bluetooth mode.

Using Official PS3 Wireless Headset with Xbox 360

The xbox doesn't use bluetooth so unfortunately you won't be able to use the headset. There are a varity of third party headsets you can get but it really depends on how much you want to spend.

Sorry you cant it as to be plugged into the controller for chat, I use the latest from TB 500X which are fully wireless.

No, you can't use a bluetooth headset with the Xbox One.

Hi,

I have xbox one s and bluetooth controller. I couldn't manage to pair my bluetooth headset (sony wh-1000xm3) with bluetooth controller. (Since BT devices can not be connected with CONSOLE via bluetooth, I try to connect BT headset with CONTROLLER).

How can I pair BT headset and controller?

Hello again, right, if it's or Bluetooth is using the original Microsoft headsets or some third party, if it's some third party it might be something on the signal emission basis.
