    If I close my Microsoft account and wait for 60 days for it to permanently delete everything will I be able to recreate it with the same gmail address that I deleted my Microsoft account with? Because I read that after the 60 days you need to wait 30 days to recreate it again and I want to make sure before I do it. I basically want to factory reset everything but keep my same gmail to recreate the Microsoft account and Xbox account again and start over playing all my games from the beginning like if it was a brand new account but keeping my same gmail.

    You can go to https://account.live.com/. Login with your Yahoo account. Under "Closing your Microsoft account deletes all the data associated with it." Click on Close Account. Then recreate the Yahoo
    account.

    But you've most likely essentially closed one of the accounts as it's not possible to recreate Microsoft accounts of any domain.

    That's lame. Ultimately Microsoft owns that account and they can do whatever they want with it (ban, delete, recreate, etc). Sounds like they're trying to baffle you with BS.
