    I want to change my gamertag, but I no longer own an xbox, I play xbox games on my PC - like Project Spark. Any suggestions?

    Yeah, but if I changed that gamertag from Mosh1mo to something else, will that make that gamertag available or forever gone? I just want my gamertag for a new console... Not the games as he can keep them.

    Change gamertag with parental control?

    I want to change my gamertag but I am under parental control. Does that matter? Can I still add microsoft points from a card and change my gamertag?

    Hi there,

    according to this support page you should be able to do it via the PC:
    support.xbox.com/.../change-xbox-live-gamertag

    But as far as I know that option isn't available anymore.

    You could also try the solution via Games for Windows like mentioned here:
    support.microsoft.com/.../en

    If both fail then it seems the only option is to do it via either a xbox 360 or xbox one console
