can i change an adult account to a childs account?

Ok so i brought an xbox and set it up strat away with my kids details ect my card ect. But now i find he should of been set up as a child... so question can i transferr= his account to a kids one so he doesnt loose all his stuff?

Parental control settings

I can't remember 100% but I am sure whoever set up the child account can change it. Like if you made an adult account on the xbox before making the child account that adult account can change wether the child account is a child account or and adult one.
I will just test this out myself now and post how it went

No. A child account can be made into an adult account but not the other way around. If you want your kid to have a child account you will have to make a new account for them with their birthday. Nothing is transferable between accounts.

You can change a child account to an adult account, but you can't change an adult account to a child account. In order to manage them, you would have to create new child accounts for them.
