Can i buy Halo 5 digital version for less if i have a physical copy?

I have the physical copy for halo 5 (literally all i play). I look in the game store and it showed a h5 digital delux version for 70 bucks or so. Is there a regular digital copy or is it possible to get it for less if you already own a physical copy?

Wondering if anyone knows, or hopefully (haha) someone at MS is reading this and will answer:

1) Why is there no digital download code for Halo 5 available on Amazon Canada? There is on other Amazon stores.

2) Why is the physical edition of Halo 5 $10 cheaper on Amazon Canada than the digital version on MS Canada store? Makes no sense.

I'd buy Halo 5 digital at $49 CAD, but don't want the disc version . . .

 

Physical to Digital question

Hey guys I have probably a stupid question but i was wondering....I own Halo 5 on a disk. Today I saw it in the xbox store for like 15 dollars so I clicked buy. I had the physical version installed on my xbox but after clicking buy I can now start the game
without the disk. So I was wondering if I changed it from physical to digital version (which i want to do) do I lose any saved progress or dlc or anything? or does everything trasnsfer over and now I no longer have to use the disk? thanks

 

Owning the physical copy won't effect the pricing in the Xbox store. You can keep an eye on majornelson.com for any sales, but otherwise, you would have to pay whatever the price is in the store.
