Can i buy a digital game in Europe, and redeem the code here in America?

No fifa is one of the few gMes that are region locked

Your best option is ro buy currency or. A prepaid code from your locL etailer like amazon or gamestop

Certain games are region locked by IP and you aren't going to be able to play any disc based games that aren't the same region as your console, such as NTSC (North America) vs PAL (Europe).



You will also need to have a GOLD Subscription, fortunately, GOLD Subscription cards/codes are NOT region locked so you can buy one anywhere and redeem it on your current profile.



Also noteworthy, Microsoft Points codes/cards are region locked so you cannot redeem/use them in a different region.

As hinted in the name, the All Digital console IS that - ALL DIGITAL, so there is
no disc drive. I would return to the place where you purchased the game, obtain a refund or trade in, and look to buy an Xbox gift card to the value of the game you want to buy. From there, you redeem the code and can purchase the
digital version of FIFA 20.

Apparently it's delayed one week for Europe, here for launch in North America. Europe still gets FIFA free, so they win.

Also note, if your friend is not in the same country as you, you will not be able to redeem the gifted game.
