Can i buy 1 game and play with my friend ''sharing'' the account?

I want to buy sea of thieves but i want to split the game buying it on an account then sharing it with my friend, is it possible?

What is the point of sharing if you can't play together at the same time?

Do you understand how family sharing was suppsose to work?

Do you really believe Microsoft would let you buy 1 game and play it with 2 or 3 friends at the same time?

Are you going to wait 2 weeks for cousin Joe to finish HALO 5 so he can share it with you? With sharing you can't play at the same time. You still need 2 copies of the game to play together.

The transition to digital is happing, though it shouldn't be forced upon consumers. You can still buy all your games digitally on DAY 1!

 

Licence sharing probleme

Hello , I write you this message because i buy Forza ultime edition for me and my friends and i give him the code and when i will got my xbox I do a licence sharing with my friends but when we want to do it we can't because the system say me " You have
already do you 5 sharing , you can retry the 5/10/2018" but my friends has just do 1 sharing with me in october ,and i buy Forza ultime edition for us and i give him the code and when i will got my xbox I do a licence sharing

What is the solution and could we reset the count of the licence sharing ?

 

You can't share the account with the friend, but if you were to buy the game on your account and then set his console as your Home console he would have access to that game as well as any other games on your account.

 

Can we play both at the same time?

 

You would be able to play on two accounts as long as your account is set as the other console's Home.

You would not be able to play on two PC's, no. You would only be able to Home share across two consoles.
