Can I be refunded to get the right version of a game?

The XCloud versions are Xbox console versions of the game, so you have probably purchased the Xbox versions instead of the PC versions. Only Halo The Master Chief Collection has a windows version of the game. Halo 5 only has an Xbox version. to get a refund, you can get one from this page xbox.com/refund

So I had an issue when I bought the wrong version of the game and it’s been past 14 days I didn’t know it had a series s version and when I tried to get a refund just so I can buy the same game but the updates version .they denied me and I’m having an issue understanding why it’s a problem? You usually can't purchase a digital game twice on your account, unless your manage to buy two different versions (e.g. the standard game, and later a Game of the Year version).

If you bought the game on disc, be aware that if your console is connected online, the disc is the very same version of the download game. So if the download version glitches, the newly bought version will glitch, too.

As the others already said, you can't refund a game you owned over a year already.

You might try to
use the refund form to get a refund for the newly bought game, and explain that you erroneously purchased the same version of the game twice, trying to get the new purchase refunded.

The DLC would only work for the One version. If you just recently purchased the game, you can request a refund and then repurchase the correct version, but if it's outside of the refund period, the only way to get it would be to buy the One version. You
