Sorry for the bad english i'm brazilian.I want to know if I change my region to download a free-play-game its not avaliable in Brazil.Can I be banned?

Turning myself in

I've been threatened by several people on live to be banned because of my gamer tag. My brother changed it to LiceDownUnder and I don't want to be banned because of his stupidity. May I please be allowed to change it before I get into trouble?

Is it legal/allowed for an xbox employee to change my gamertag if the account is banned

One of my accounts that i owned is banned. But it is mine and since the gamertag is considered "cool" it was taken by an employee. Literally someone accessed my account and changed it so they can have the name. No it wasnt stolen by somebody random you cannot
change a banned gamertag. It was an employee and im upset wether it was banned or not

Yes,you could be banned/suspended for marketplace theft,even if it's a free game.

I think you can get banned for changing the region for downloads though.

Changing your region to access something in a different region does violate the terms of service and can put you at risk for being banned.

changing your region will not help you if you are not physically in that region, regardless of the method of payment you have. Changing your region to access things not available to you as a violation of terms of service and can lead to account and hardware bans
