    I pre ordered the COD for my partner and it’s come through to my email and account will he still be able to use the game on his Xbox account? I didn’t realise it done that and it was for a surprise

    When you make the purchase, it is linked to your email.

    The only way for him to play would be if he logged in as his main account on his console. That way his games are linked to the console, and he can use the games through the Game Sharing system.

    Still no luck. Its weird because he can still play all of the games that I own, he just can't play online.

    Metal Gear Online going offline. What 360 games had their online disabled?

    I'm pretty sure COD2 can still be played online, he might of meant that's the oldest game he still plays online.

    If it is shutdown, then i'm surprised an Activision title is done.

    Parental control issues- still seem to be able to download 18 games

    He can still see the games, and download & install them. He just cannot play them.

    he will be fine, he can still play with all his friends in fortnite and the gold requirement was removed from all free to play games.
