If you use the automated refund process it will go back to whatever medium you use to pay. If you talk to a customer service agent, they may be able to change that but it is not guaranteed

Also, the preorder refund could be given to account funds instead of being refund to the card if one was used. You can go to settings and account to view this.

No. Refunds are always sent to the original payment method.

Even nonreloadable cards can be reloaded when it comes to something being refunded. I know from experience.

So, this means that instead of using my account balance to buy games, I should instead buy them individually with a credit card?

So that if me being scammed again by a game, instead of asking for refund and talk to walls, I could simply ask my card provider to reject the payment and the game will automatically be refunded?

This should be more wide spread, I have been buying games with account balance like a moron and my refund request of BF2042 keeps being rejected, I wish I bought it with a card....
