Can family members (kids) use my Xbox live account with their own logins

Hey now,

So, my kids were minors when I bought my Xbox live acccount, and in all honesty I don’t play. My 15 year old son wants to play fortnight on his account, not mine. Is it possible for him to use my Xbox live account for this, or do I need to purchase him his
own Xbox live account for this? Basically, he already linked his online fortnight account to his xbox id, but even though I’ve turned off 2-factor authorization, and made it so he has full content and purchasing permissions for his account. I guess I thought
since I could download games using Xbox live gold, and the whole family’s accounts could access and play these games that we were “sharing the privileges of having Xbox live.” It’s looking to me like hell need his own account. What is making this even harder
is my wife and I are separated, so I can’t be in front of the screen with him while he’s trying to set it up. Any help here?

Do they offer any discounts for adding family members to existing Xbox live accounts?

Two xbox consoles, how to set up logins and xbox live

Hi, I am struggling to find out the best way to set up two xbox consoles. I have set up family members within my account, therefore there is my account with xbox live attached and my two kids accounts so they can login on the one (home console) and use xbox
live. But the second console the xbox live doesn't work. Is there any point in setting up the family members? How do I get xbox live on the second console, does this need to be purchased again but I can't purchase on my account?

Question about XBox Live Family Account

My house has 3 xbox's and 4 kids. 3 kids have their own Windows Live Account (own emails etc). Can I purchase the Family Pack and have all four of the kids gamertags be associated. Can they play on their OWN xbox consoles at the same time?

Home Console designation to share some Xbox Live Gold benefits with your son's account. If you sign into your account on your son's Xbox One
console and set it as your Home Console, he'll be able to access your digital game purchases and access Xbox Live Gold.

each if my two kids have their own accounts as family members already set up. What they want to do is use the online gaming features of xbox live under their own profiles on their own consoles. If they are part of my microsoft family group and i set my personal
console as the hime console do they share ALL gamepass ultimate features (inclusive of live features) on their own profiles in their own consoles?

No you don’t. Just login with the same account on both consoles.

You can even mark one of the console as your home and any of your family member can then use that console and login with their own account and they will be able to use your gold subscription.

yes. To add more to the confusion I had a family member that also owns the game use my login on their machine and the game works for him. Not sure how this can be an xbox machine issue but it appears it could be
