Can connect to xbox live under new code but cannot play online

I contacted xbox live support and they said that I cannot play online because the servers are not ready. But they said that I can play offline with no internet connection.

Is an error code being generated when attempting to connect? If so if you could get it for us that would help 😀

As for not being able to connect on the IPad, that is a different story entirely. It could be something simple, but to really figure things out and error code would help a ton. Please keep us posted!

it says something like You cannot play online multiplayer through Xbox Live because of how your account is set up

Under servers is says something like that also.

Apparently I can actually sign in, but I cannot connect to xbox live.

Now instead of saying my password is in correct it gives me a new error.

content is linked to the Xbox you original downloaded it to - for it to play on another console that console needs to be connected to Xbox live and your gamertag signed in.

if you want to play it you will need to be connected to xbox live on the new console or do a license transfer on the new console (under settings - profile ) - but then your other xbox you will need to be online for the content to work on that one

I have the same problem. I cant access subscriptions or payments on the xbox. But I can on the pc and all looks fine. Im guessing because xbox cannot connect to live we cannot play games online. Very frustrating as it can access the Internet and no errors
are showing at all. It just says problem connecting. Try again.
