    Hello,

    I recently updated my xbox a few days ago. Everything was fine and peachy until this update. Played Halo 5 and Battlefront online just fine a few days ago. Today I tried to get onto Halo 5 and said I couldn’t connect to servers. But I can connect to Netflix
    and Hulu just fine. My gold is up to date and internet connection is perfect. I tried resetting my xbox but no luck. Its been a few hours but still nothing with any online game server. HELP!!

    I had the same issue. Is your NAT strict? Run a multiplayer test to see what error your having. I was receiving can't get a teredo up address. Factory reset all settings in my modem and it now works.

    Is there a way to backup (make a copy of) my external USB harddrive?

    If the profile is connected to Live, then it is automatically backed up to the servers and can be downloaded at any time. The only thing you can't recover is game saves. If the profile has never been connect to Live, and is strictly and offline server, then
    you would not be able to redownload it.

    My problem is connection to a select few game servers, not logging into my gold account. I can connect to xbox live and use gold privileges, the only thing I can't do is connect to Halo and Rainbow Six frequently without a hard reset.

    Original Xbox on Live?

    Hey there,

    You can't play using the original Xbox as the servers were shut down, I believe, in 2007. You will be able to play the games, but not online multiplayer.

    If you have a 360, you can connect to Xbox Live if you are connected to a network.
