Can connect to internet but not online games.

Switched to better Internet and now my xbox will still connect to the internet (i know because I downloaded warzone last night.) But every time i open a game it cant retrieve my ip and wont connect..... Please help tried restarting modem. Resetting wifi.
Hardwiring Xbox, and power cycling.... Im so frustrated..

I would Suggest contacting your Internet provider as this seems to be with them.

This may be a NAT Type issue, to make sure your it isn't - view the NAT Type Strict (Or Moderate) page as well as solutions to potentially resolve
the issue. It may also be your search preferences, on the game, make sure they are set to 'any'.

Hi, unfortunately for initial setup and game downloads, internet connection is needed. If the games are online multiplayer or state that Xbox Live is a requirement, you will need an internet connection.

Once updated/downloaded and as long as a game doesn't need a connection, you can set to offline in network settings.

most games require internet connection to download / update etc

and if the game is online based to play that will require constant internet connection.

You Need just an Internet Connection. You can Play offline. The best experience with XBOX Games are online
