    Hello,

    The last two weeks me and my husband been having some huge problems with connecting to xbox live gold, which we just got in February. we did everything the forums have been saying check your internet connection, network connection and everything looks great
    but it just not working, if it does its only for a split second, we can watch hulu and netflix but we cant do anything else when its to games or apps, I just got assassin creed origins and i would love to finish playing it..

    also on our dashboard it says connect to xbox live gold and its not doing anything. So some help please.

    I have tried everything and i cannot connect to xbox live it always fails to connect to the internet but connects to the router fine

    Yeah we just got our Gold accounts back and we cant connect to live... What is going on here?

    I know there have been some issues and other things, even rumored security breaches but really now 2 weeks have gone by. Did we just waste money for this service? Are we getting reimbursed for the time we can use gold?

    If your xbox has an internet connection, then you are connected to xbox live automatically. To use Youtube, on any platform, you must be connected to the internet. Meaning if you are running offline, you will not be able to use internet based apps. If
    your inquiry is that you need Xbox Live Gold to watch Youtube, then that would be false. The Youtube app can work without a Gold subscription.
