  1. Can Co-pilot have separate and independent button configuration?

Can Co-pilot have separate button configuration and independent working buttons because then the two co-pilots can supplement each other better?

    Example:

Red dead redemption 2 is coming up and would be way better if horse riding is done with wheel and shooting with gun. During the xbox 360 version of RDR acceleration on a horse was done by pushing button A. This should be configured as right pedal on the
wheel without this effecting the gun controller buttons. Right Pedal is normally RT so it would be shooting on gun. This would conflict if there is no separate and independent button configuration of the co-pilot.

    :)

  2. Xbox one co-pilot feature

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole co-pilot thing but can I confirm if co-pilot is available to ring-3 people? I have kids I'd love to run co-pilot with.

    Okay, time to post more.

    Dropships, Phantom/Pelican

The Dropships would have the same controls as the Falcon, that'd make them easier to control, they would have to have a button to open and close their troop bays, and a button to land/deploy tractor beam.

When you go inside the phantom, there would be computer consoles in the troop bay for Pilot/co-pilot, and in the Pelican there would be a small passage to the pilot/co-pilot seat.

The pilot would control movement, and the co-pilot would control the heavy weapons.

They would both see the same screen, with an aiming reticule on it (this way the pilot would be able to tell where their co-pilot was aiming) T

he Phantom co-pilot would control the concussion cannon (it'd lock on to air targets) and the pelican would have chaingun and rockets (like the H3 hornet) they'd be able to do the same amount of damage in the same amount of time so it'd be (somewhat) balanced.

Players would be able to walk around freely in the troop bay while it's flying.

Both Dropships will be able to have their troop bays open in flight.

The Phantom would have it's two side mounted plasma cannons, and the Pelican would have it's rear facing turret.

We'd be able to put spawn points inside both.

We don't really need a Spirit with the Phantom, and It'd be a lot harder to make.

Can Co-pilot have separate and independent button configuration?

You should probably contact the game's developer for those type suggestions.

  5. I think it should be a task for xbox to have separate button configuration for co-pilot. The games should also have button configuration but they can not recognize the difference between the co-pilot and the primary controller because it is one and the
    same signal.

    "Turn on Copilot" button

Are you using two controllers because the co-pilot function configures the second controller to work in sync with the first one EX. You are playing a game with a lot of different controls and combinations, the co-pilot function allows the second controller
to work with the first and use the set of controls you can't with the first so like if your playing a solo fighter pilot game and you are trying to fire the weapons and deploy flares and you can't do it co-pilot will either let the second controller deploy
the flares or fire the weapons at the same tme as you deploy the flares.

    Xbox adaptive controller

Yes you can connected the two using co pilot. And you can possibly reassign functions with the button remapping option.

Hope this answered your inquiry & thanks for coming to the forums!
