    That's a weird title, I know. My problem is weird. When I test my internet connection it says there is no connection. I have tried everything the support link told me to do other than the direct connection. Yet I have no problem signing in and talking to
    people just can't play online.

    More than likely you need to register the MAC Address of your console with the IT department.

    Yea contact your ISP or whoever provides the internet for you. This issue has nothing to do on xbox part but could possible be port issue. Just make sure that you contact them and you should be connected to xbox live in no time!

    I just did a search on xfinity wifi, and from what I found that internet system seems built more for mobile devices and laptop hotspot connections... Which are no good for a gaming console's connection requirements.

    As it turns out I have a BAD port, as long as I hold the ethernet cable in place it will connect. so My choices now are to go wifi or repair the port.
