Can anyone tell me why Sjchor cant be used as a gamertag?

The name Sjchor has always been my gamer tag in all games but it says that it is not available and I'm not sure why. the meaning of it is my first initial, middle initial, and last name. I don't really see why its not useable.

The reason you can't change your Gamer tag to your old name is because Gamer tags are not recycled.

This means that if you change your Gamer tag there is a chance that you will not be able to use your old tag.

At this point, you would have to wait until these tags are released to be able to use them once again; However, the last time this occurred was in 2016 according to this article, and prior to this event, this had not previously occurred. Xbox customer support will not be able to help you with this.

I hope this was able to clear up any confusion this may have caused.

This is a joke, why cant you change it on Xbox One. So your telling me that until you update it we are stuck with the email for our Gamertag?
