    Can anyone please help. PLEASE!!!!!


    So i purchased a xbox one two weeks ago along with a Xbox Live gold membership for a year at wal-mart. Redeem the code and have been playing online for the past 2 weeks with no problems, When all of a sudden i log on and it says i am not able to play online.
    Checked my account and it shows i have never purchased a subscription to Xbox Live. I called x box and they said there's nothing they can do because it shows that i have never purchased a Xbox Live Gold membership and said to contact wal-mart where i got the
    xbox live card from. Of course i have no reciepe and why would i save a card i used that have no value after redeeming the code. So now im without xbox live and cant get my money back and theres nothing Xbox / Microsoft can do. I have only one account And
    Trust me im 100% POSITIVE i redeemed the code From the card i bought.

    Has this happened to anyone or heard of this happening to anyone else?

    What can i do? Can anyone please help. PLEASE!!!!! :(

    I could be wrong but when you redeem a code, don't you get an email sent to the email linked to your Gamertag/Xbox LIVE account to say you've added subs, credit? have you checked there?

    ( again I might be wrong on this )

    Unless someone else has some suggestions then I'm not really sure what to advise other than contact Walmart to see if they have records of your purchase.

    I think your right about the email thing, every time I buy something from Xbox Live (even using a code) I always get email confirmation.

    Also, to the OP, you've just spent 300 or 400 hundred dollars on an electronic device and you didn't keep the receipt? what happens if it breaks?

  7. It's entirely possible you had a two week trial instead of a year gold sub. That would be my guess since it ran out at that mark.

    Definitely check your email to see if you were sent an activation confirmation, if its not in your inbox make sure to check the junk/spam folder.

    It sounds like whatever code you entered was merely a 2 week Gold trial. Outside of the ideas posted already (check your email) you could also check your Xbox transactions under "My Account" on here to see if you got it. Other than those options, there
    isn't anything we, on this forum, can do for you. We're just users/gamers, so we can only offer advice.

    Without a receipt, you're pretty much out of luck. MS isn't just going to give you a year of Gold, and you have nothing to prove you bought it from Walmart, so they can't help you.

  9. Were you logged in as jmose353 when you entered your code ?.

    Is there only 1 account on your xbox ?

    Have you gotten a 1530 gamerscore in 2 weeks ?.

    If your tag is from the 360 , maybe you could try deleting and re downloading it to your xb1

    OP MS and Wallyworld have been going back and forth for well over a year over Xbox Cards sold at Walmart.

    I had bought an XBL Starter kit at Wallyworld November 2013, got home entered in the code and it was INVALID. Called support and nothing doing. So I took the card back to Wallyworld with XB Support still holding on the phone, got another Starter kit, drove
    back home... XB Support still holding, entered in that code... and again. INVALID. So yet another trip back to Wallyworld with XBL Support still on the phone. This time the WM receptionist was determined to find out what gives.

    It took the receptionist 2 hours to figure out what was going on. When you buy M's products from any store, it takes no less than two codes to activate that card. One code is Wallyworlds and other is Microsofts. The Microsoft code (Electronic activation
    code from Microsoft that validates the card at checkout) wasn't activating. So Wallyworld this time simply gave me my money back and in not so soft a language told XBL support via my phone. "This is all on you and we are pulling them (XBL Starter Kits) from
    our shelves and sending them back TO YOU..."

    So I for one believe what you posted for I went through a similar situation. Thus IF the 12 month XBL Gold activation code activated. And as you posted above.. It had to. However It is possible that perhaps it only activated as a Trial period, and not as
    a full 3-12 month code, and therefore you would NOT have gotten an email at all.

    Personally, I would call support and would not take "NO, or Nothing we can do" for an answer. Because there is always something that they CAN DO.

    I dunno then ,.

    He says he has no receipt , even though he bought the console and 12 months at the same time , surely they would both be on the same receipt .

    M/s have no record of it .
