    Can anyone help with GTA V not installing


    I have an XBox one series x. I have been trying to download GTA V but it gets to the sart game section. But then says installation paused?stopped.I have so far done the following but its still not working. 1) Total uninstall and reinstall, 2) Cleared local saved games, 3) after unistalling with disc out tried a forced restart of console, 4) disconnected from the internet and tried to reinstall while disconnected. None of these actions helped, the game will still not install. Im trying with a disc as cloud download is showing as unavailable. Can some one please help

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Let’s install the game digitally. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

    2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

    ​​​A. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

    4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

    5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it.

    Connecting to Xbox Live takes a long time.

    Ok. Reformatted the hard drive, and it's still quick to log in. I originally only had GTA V installed on the 120 GB hard drive, so instead of installing that, I installed both discs of Mass Effect 2 (which takes up more space than GTA V), and I had no
    issues with logging in. I'm now reinstalling GTA V to see if the issue comes back. If GTA V is the culprit, I'll switch to their help forums.
