    i did unenroll from the beta before uninstalling and reinstalling, but i checked back and i guess i wasn't unenrolled or something, so i unenrolled again and i'm waiting 30 mins before uninstalling and reinstalling just to make sure it works

    If you're enrolled in the Minecraft beta you need to unenroll from the same (you can unenroll from the Xbox insider app)

    Is your console by any chance in the Xbox Insider program? If it is, then that will be why you get more updates than anyone of your friends. To unenroll just launch the Xbox Insider app, go into settings and unenroll the console. You will get one more
    update, and then no more until the public update gets released.

    Hello, my account on the xbox preview program, I accidentally chose unenroll and wish to undo that action as I don't want to go through the burden of factory resetting my console and have been a preview program member for a year now, please assist me

    I'm currently pending in the unenroll pending, but once the unenroll takes effect I will have to factory reset my console, and when I launch the preview program it simply treats me as though as I am still a member

    So I was having the same problems OP was, and it progressively got worse over a few days just like OP as well. I saw a few users say something about the Prview Program, so I figured I’d give unenrolling a shot as I’ve exhausted all other fixes aside from
    sending my Xbox to Microsoft so they can charge me to fix something they broke in the first problem. It actually worked! It has been 5 days since I’ve unenrolled and I have not had a single issue! No deleting of profiles, and no factory resets! After a hard
    reset to unfreeze the console, I rushed into the insider app when the dashboard launched, and unenrolled. Then a hard reset to be safe, and again, I’ve had absolutely no issues since. The least you can do is try this if you read this! Hope this helps anyone
