Child accouts have to be changed by the adult supervisor of the accout. And by you trying to change it sent a notification to that accout

im so tired my account being a child account and i finally found out someone that clearly told me how do it and now it says there is a temporary problem with the service please try again

 

I'm having the same problem, woke up to an update, start and get this error message and regardless of restarting the system or not it continues to happen.

 

I have a friend that was getting it he tried using a mobile hot spot and that fixed it and let him download it

 

I just tried using the hotspot from my iPad still a no go... I tweeted to xbox support about it but yet to have gotten an answer.

I am getting the error on 2 xb1's. I tried the mobile hotspot from my phone and it started downloading with no problem.. Its a weird problem for sure!!

Same here happening on og xbox one and xbox one s. talked to xbox support said it was an emerging issue. The more reports the better is what I was told. Passed info to engineering and trying to come up with a fix.

 

I have tried to connect my XBOX one to my Mobile after turned it on as a hot spot and the download start now.

 

I tried the mobile hotspot on my iPad again and everything worked fine for me... I would most definitely give it a try if you are able too
