    Can any body that's not in the same Internet server as me can they see or try to connect to my media etc on my Xbox one..it just got me wondering since I live with a lot of roommate and I wouldn't want it to show

    You can't play them without an internet connection as they are not rated by any official body.

    -

    So you require an internet conenction to play and if anything untoward does appear, Microsoft can disable it.

    @Daft badger having the test ping a server in the U.S does not make the test result any less accurate. I'll bet the xbox one test is as accurate as any internet one you use with a pc or laptop like Ookla speed test as long as you ping a server based in
    seattle U.S.

    Infact it's virtually the same result for me same as my tracert or ping cmd result also.

    Only if they have a xbox one smartglass, and know what your log in and password is. If they don't know your log in and password they cannot connect to your xbox.
