Can an opened Xbox still be serviced?

So one of my Xboxes (X) decided to stop powering on all of a sudden. I decided to open it up to see if anything somehow became disconnected and everything looks fine and connected with no problems, so I think there’s a short on my motherboard
somewhere. I didn’t replace any parts or have a third party repair shop work on it. All I did was open it myself and it’s back together exactly as it was, carefully, with no damage. My question is, will Microsoft still service it even though it has been opened?
I heard that about two years ago there was a case between the FTC and Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo about their warranty sticker terms where if no damage was done by the user opening it, nothing was replaced by a third party, no new parts were added from other
consoles, and nothing was damaged by the user from opening it, it could still be serviced. It is also still under warranty until December of this year.

Here is Microsoft’s response to this:

“We are updating our warranties to clarify that having your device repaired by a third party, opening your console, or breaking the seal will not void the warranty. We are also further clarifying that the warranty does not apply to
damage caused by users, third-party parts, or repair by third parties.”
