    Can an individual apply for ID@Xbox?


    I'm an individual making a multiplayer game in Unity that I wanted to get uploaded to Xbox to play with some friends. I was going to go through the Xbox Live Creators Program, but I see multiplayer is not supported.

    I am not a game studio. I was just curious if I could sign up for ID@Xbox if I'm only one person making a game for fun.

    If I'm not able to sign up for ID@Xbox as an individual, does anyone know an alternative of how I can get my game on Xbox only to play with my friends?

    If it helps, I am not looking to monetize my game. I would publish it for free with no in-game purchases.

    Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

    You cannot access Xbox Live servers unless you are an approved developer this is true

    You may wish to check whether you can use your own server in the base rung, We're not the people to ask about these programs. You should contact id@xbox

    I personally would recommend that you develop your game first for mobile or PC which are already much more open platforms

    thanks, was able to sort everything out.

    just concerned a bit. can i mute individual players or allow only friends to be heard on the headset when he is in multiplayer ? would be nice if there was a global setting on the xbox (apply to all games).

    Two wrongs don't make a right applies here. If the other individual is reported then they will look into it as well.
