    Xbox one output in 720 and not 1080

    My TV is stating the Xbox one output is in 720 rather than 1080

    Used to work fine with my xbox 360

    TV is a Sony

    I have been into the Xbox settings, but the only output option available is 720, there is no 1080 option.

    Any ideas?

    4k video support

    I have a Samsung UE65JS8505 4k TV. Does the 1080 video limit on the Xbox in any way influence or limit the upscaling of live TV signals, or will the xbox put a 1080 cap on that as well?

    Will the xbox one Plex app be able to show 4k content or is that too limited to 1080?

    Hey Kmcroc! The Xbox One S is able to display at 1080 as well and that would be the only difference compared to a 4K display. Thanks!

    Xbox one s bad graphics

    I have RDR2 on Xbox One S.. I play it on a 1080 and mine looks amazing.. You might have to check the tv settings..

    Xbox one s won't display 1080p

    So i moved my xbox one s to a different tv for a few days and i hooked it back up to my acer monitor, ever since then it just will not display 1080p it works fine on 720 but not on 1080 ive reset the whole system, turned it on and off, played around
    with the settings. It will either flash the screen, show green pixelated dots, or blatantly not display i have no idea on what may have happened it was literally fine right before i moved it back up.
    What model is the acer is it a 1080 monitor or is it in 1080 mode

    Does Xbox One S support HDR without 4K Res?

    A lot of places give you 30 day money back on tv's you could ask the store if they do that, if yes buy the tv and take it back if your not happy with the results

    Sorry I don't know if xbox s will do HDR on a 1080 or not I'm still sitting on the "big brick xbox one"

    HAHAHA! I laugh at Gamestops lack of knowledge! The Xbox One S supports 720, 1080, and 4k resolutions. Just plug it in to any modern HDTV and it should automatically detect the tv's capabilities as far as resolution, hdr, stereoscopic 3d, and fps are concerned.
