Can a player be banned from Xbox for text message harassment?

Hello,

I decided to ask here for that because I'm not so sure if the report tab in the Xbox app is going to work.

I'd like to ask if can a player can be banned for harassment in text messages.

All started while I was playing Minecraft in a server and I killed a player called"M......e"*

and after 5 minutes he sent me a personal text message telling me that I was cheating and then the harassment started. He said f..... and many more.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a screenshot of the messages but I hope that maybe there is a way to find what he said.

After that I blocked him and reported him via the Xbox app.

Ask me if you need his game tag

Fun fact:All that started because he used to believe that I was cheating but I didn't, he was just looking at while I was hitting him.😂😂

He messaged me via Xbox and after the game was finished.He didn't say anything in the server.

how did he message you, if through the xbox servers or official minecraft server then once reported they will take action, if messaged another way and they cannot see this then no action will be taken.

I would recommend reporting him through the Xbox app/console and xbox enforcement team will take action on any violations the player has broke you can view what xbox live Enforcement team base there decisions of on there Page.

I have already reported him through the Xbox app but I didn't know if this is very trustworthy, that's why I decided to ask here.
