Can a hacker block my xbox's access to the internet?

I was playing Black Ops: Cold War last night when all of the sudden I get booted from the game due to a "connection error." I go and check my internet, just to see that I was randomly disconnected from it. I thought "okay, I'll just reconnect it." It doesn't work and then says something about restarting my router. I restart it... No dice. I try connecting to multiple other networks. Still nothing. I even tried connecting to my mobile Hotspot. The internet itself is fine, I can connect to it from other devices, but my Xbox One will not connect to any network whatsoever. Is there anything I can do about this?

Here are a few troubleshooting tips you can try to resolve your query:
1. Power Cycle your console: Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. After the console has shut down, unplug the mains lead and wait 30 seconds. Then plug the console back in and turn it on by pressing the Xbox button.

2. Use the ethernet cable to connect to the router and see if this works.

The Unrated Content block removes the YouTube app from the app marketplace. Thus, it stands to reason that since YouTube can be accessed through Internet Explorer on Xbox Live, IE should also be blocked under the Unrated Content setting.

Also, the YouTube app no longer exists on the new dashboard - it is to be accessed through IE.

Think about it - nearly everything that is blocked on the Xbox Live "Family" menu can be accessed by Internet Explorer. Doesn't that render all of the Family safety settings useless?

Be the parent? Want to know how I'm the parent with our computers? By password-protecting full access to the internet. The new Xbox Live dashboard doesn't have this option.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Internet Explorer can be blocked, but not blocked with a passcode. The result is that a person does not need the passcode to unblock it, which makes "blocking" IE pretty useless.

Your idea about IE being blocked through the "Unrated Content" option is logical. Yet, even with Unrated Content set to "blocked," Internet Explorer is still accessible. This method used to block the YouTube app entirely but does not block the IE app -
from which YouTube can now be accessed...

Does this seem like an oversight?

has it occured to anyone that when ms releases the internet browser for the xbox 360 that hackers will then be able to access your xbox? this is why i will never use it...
